PSU Legal Officer roles are among the most respected career options for law graduates. Selection is generally based on a national-level score (often CLAT PG/UG as applicable) or PSU-specific exams, followed by an interview and document verification.

PSU Legal Officer Roadmap

Eligibility → shortlist route (CLAT/PSU test) → interview → joining.

Step 1: Understand Eligibility (Typical)

  • LLB degree: from a recognized university.
  • Enrollment: some PSUs may require Bar Council enrollment.
  • Experience: for some posts, 0–2 years (varies PSU to PSU).

  • CLAT-based shortlisting: many PSUs shortlist via CLAT score (as per their notification).
