HOW TO PREPARE FOR UGC NET LAW (PAPER 2)
UGC NET Law Paper 2 is unit-based. The fastest improvement comes from a unit-wise cycle: learn the concept → revise short notes → solve PYQs/MCQs → analyze mistakes → repeat.
Paper 2 Scoring Strategy
Finish one unit at a time, then lock it with PYQs + unit tests.
Unit-wise Plan (10 Units)
- Units 1–2: Jurisprudence + Constitutional/Admin (foundation units; revise frequently)
- Units 3–5: International/IHL + Crimes + Torts/Consumer (high MCQ potential)
- Units 6–7: Commercial + Family Law (concept + statutory provisions)
- Units 8–10: Env/Human Rights + IPR/IT + Comparative Public Law (revision-driven)
Daily Routine (2–3 Hours)
- 60–90 min: Concept study + short notes
- 45–60 min: Topic-wise MCQs / PYQs
- 15–20 min: Error notebook + revision
Mock Test Rule
Every mock must be followed by analysis: why wrong, what to revise, and a 1-page unit summary to prevent repeating the same mistake.
