From Class 10 Student to NLU Bengaluru Aspirant

After completing his Class 10 Board Examinations, Ishaan Yadav knew that his dream was to build a career in law. Instead of waiting until Class 12, he decided to begin his CLAT preparation early. He enrolled in the Integrated CLAT Programme at Knowledge Nation Law Centre, Delhi Branch, while simultaneously opting for the Arts stream in senior secondary school.

The first few months were challenging. Managing school academics alongside CLAT preparation required discipline and consistency. With the guidance of experienced faculty members, a structured study plan, regular mock tests, and continuous doubt-solving sessions, Ishaan gradually developed strong conceptual clarity in Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, English Language, Current Affairs, and Quantitative Techniques.

Over the next 18 months, he maintained a balanced routine between school and coaching. He made it a habit to revise daily, analyse every mock test, and improve upon his weak areas. The mentorship provided by the faculty, combined with regular performance reviews and personalised feedback, helped him stay focused throughout his preparation.

When the CLAT 2025 examination was conducted in December 2025, Ishaan approached the exam with confidence built through months of disciplined preparation. His consistent efforts paid off, and he secured a score that enabled him to gain admission to the prestigious National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.

Looking back on his journey, Ishaan believes that beginning preparation immediately after Class 10 gave him a significant advantage. The additional preparation time allowed him to strengthen his fundamentals without feeling overwhelmed during Class 12. His journey demonstrates that early planning, consistent effort, and disciplined preparation can help students work steadily toward their goals.
