6 Months CLAT Preparation Plan
Can you crack CLAT in 6 months? Absolutely. Many top rankers start their serious preparation in June/July. However, with only half a year left, you don't have the luxury of trial and error. You need a "Sprint Strategy"—high intensity, strict prioritization, and no backlogs. Knowledge Nation Law Centre brings you the specialized 6-Month Fast Track Plan.
The 3-Phase Sprint Strategy
Phase 1: Foundation & Reading (The Base)
You cannot solve questions if you can't read fast. Dedicate 60% of your time to reading.
- Newspaper: Read 2 editorials daily. Do not skip.
- Concepts: Finish Torts, Contracts, Criminal Law, and Grammar basics.
- GK Backlog: Cover the current month + 1 previous month of GK every week.
- Mocks: Take 1 Mock every 15 days to understand the pattern.
Phase 2: Application & Accuracy (The Build-Up)
Shift focus to solving questions. Theory time reduces, practice time increases.
- Sectional Tests: Solve 30-min sectional tests for Logical & Legal Reasoning daily.
- Quant: Master DI (Data Interpretation) sets. This is the rank booster.
- Mocks: Increase frequency to 1 Mock per week. Analyze rigorously.
- Accuracy Check: If accuracy is below 70%, stop and revise concepts.
Phase 3: Mastery & Simulation (The Final Sprint)
Total Exam Mode. No new concepts.
- Mocks: 2-3 Mocks per week. Try to hit 80+ Mocks total.
- GK Revision: Revise notes from Knowledge Nation's 'Ignite'.
- Biological Clock: Practice during exam hours (2 PM - 4 PM).
Prioritization: What to Study?
When time is less, you must prioritize high-yield topics.
