AILET 2027 Syllabus (BA LLB - UG) - Section Wise Pattern
The BA LLB (Hons.) paper is divided into three sections and does not include a mathematics/quantitative section. Focus on strong comprehension, current awareness and logical reasoning.
1) English Language
- Reading comprehension and passage-based questions
- Fill in the blanks, synonyms/antonyms
- Idioms & phrases, jumbled words/sentences
- Choosing correct words and grammar in context
2) Current Affairs & General Knowledge
- History, geography, economics and general science
- Recent national and international current affairs
- Science & technology updates
3) Logical Reasoning
- Logical inferences and conclusions
- Legal propositions based reasoning
- Analytical and critical thinking questions
AILET 2027 Eligibility
Ensure you meet the eligibility conditions for the programme you are applying for. The percentages below are based on the standard AILET notification requirements.
BA LLB (Hons.)
- Education: Pass/appearing in Class 12 (or equivalent).
- Minimum marks: 45% (General), 42% (OBC non-creamy layer), 40% (SC/ST/PwD).

LLM (PG)
- Education: LLB/5-year or 3-year LLB programme (as applicable).
- Minimum marks: 50% (General), 45% (SC/ST/PwD).
