CLAT 2027 Exam Date
If you are targeting CLAT 2027, you are likely in Class 10th or just entering Class 11th. Many students and parents are confused about the exam timeline. It is crucial to know that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted in the December of the previous year.
Important Clarification
For admission into the Academic Session 2027-2028, the entrance exam (CLAT 2027) will be conducted in December 2026. Do not wait until 2027 to start studying!

Exam format: offline (pen and paper), 120 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours, +1 for a correct answer and -0.25 for a wrong one, as in CLAT 2026. Confirm any change in the official notification.

Eligibility for CLAT 2027
To appear for CLAT 2027, the candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
- Appearing Candidates: Students appearing for their Class 12th Board exams in March/April 2027 are also eligible to apply.
- Minimum Percentage: 45% marks for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 40% marks for SC/ST categories in 10+2.
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for CLAT.
