How support works if your family is not in Delhi-NCR
Parents do not fail CLAT. Students do — unless nobody told them the mock was on Saturday. Student and parent support exists so that calendars, fees questions, attendance alarms and “who is my counsellor?” are not lost inside a faculty inbox. Knowledge Nation Law Centre answers those questions for live-online families in every state and for families who can walk into Hauz Khas or Sector 14. It will not claim a support office in a city where it has no classroom.
The academic product remains the nine tiles around this one: faculty, research, material, guidance, techniques, mocks, current affairs, progress. Support is the human switchboard. If support starts teaching legal reasoning, something is broken. If faculty is asked to reset a login at midnight, something is also broken. This page keeps the jobs separate so both can work.
What students and parents can actually ask
Before joining: which batch fits CLAT UG versus AILET versus DU LL.B. versus judiciary foundation; what live-online hours look like from your time zone inside India; what a Delhi or Gurgaon seat costs versus online (see the published fees page when you counsel); how to sit the free mock first. Use Take Admission so the query is logged.
After joining: missed class protocol, mock clash with a board exam, how a parent receives a progress note, how to book the doubt window. The measurement rules are on the progress article. Support’s job is to make sure you know the next date, not to invent a new marking scheme.
When a score collapses: support schedules the counselling conversation; faculty names the section; the student leaves with a repair set from the material pack. A parent may be on that call if the student is a minor or if attendance has failed. That is support with a spine, not a complaint box that only says “we will look into it”.
What support will not do: promise an AIR, invent a branch in your district, or argue a mock key that research has already locked. For keys, use the mock discussion. For faculty bios, use Our Faculty. For outcomes, use CLAT Results and Success Stories.
Phones and the enquiry form on the site are the front door. Campus families can still walk to the Delhi or Gurgaon desk. Online families should not be asked to fly for a fee receipt. If someone tells you that you must relocate to be “a real student”, that is not this institute’s published national model.
Tone matters. Support that scolds a parent for asking a calendar question will lose the family before faculty ever teach a passage. Support that only agrees with the parent and never tells the student the mock was skipped is theatre. The useful desk is factual: here is the date, here is the absentee record, here is when the counsellor is free, here is the Take Admission or fee step if you are still joining. Gold and navy branding on this site is not a personality; the desk should still sound like adults who run a law-entrance institute.
Siblings and two-exam households need extra care. A parent preparing one child for CLAT UG and another for DU LL.B. will mix PDFs unless support labels batches in every message. Ask for the batch code in writing. Online groups should carry that code in the title. Campus noticeboards in Hauz Khas and Sector 14 should not say only “tomorrow test” without the exam name. Small operational sentences prevent large academic confusion. That is support earning its homepage tile.
If you are already enrolled and cannot reach anyone, use the same public numbers on the site footer and say you came from this page. Do not collect random faculty mobile numbers as a shadow helpdesk; that burns teachers and hides operations problems. Faculty phones are for scheduled academic windows. Support phones are for the rest. Keeping that boundary is how a national online programme stays teachable.
Who this desk is for
Parents who will pay only when a human answers. Working parents who cannot attend every PTM-style meeting but will read a progress note. Students who are shy in class and need a counsellor to open the first conversation. Adult DU LL.B. and judiciary aspirants who still want a calendar owner even if they do not want a parent on the call. It is not a substitute for doing the weekly work.
Support around CLAT, AILET, DU LL.B. and Judiciary
Different papers mean different calendars. Support’s first job is not to mix them. A CLAT UG child and a judiciary foundation sibling should not be pushed into one WhatsApp group and called “personalized”. Online and campus students in the same exam can share a group; different exams should not. That operational clarity is how a national institute stays sane.
If you are choosing an institute this week: read About Knowledge Nation, skim faculty and results, sit a free mock, then Take Admission. Tell support you found this page from the homepage tile. Ask one test question: “If we live outside Delhi-NCR, do we get the same faculty and the same mock file?” The answer this cluster is built on is yes — live online, two classrooms only.
