1 Syllabus / exam pattern

• AILET UG (current pattern published on KN’s AILET syllabus page): English Language; Current Affairs & General Knowledge; Logical Reasoning.
• Section weights and duration: confirm on the latest NLU Delhi notification and on KN’s AILET syllabus breakdown.
• Legal Aptitude / legal GK is not treated here as a current standalone UG section.

2 Previous year questions (PYQs)

Use the explained archive where a year page exists, plus hosted PDFs. Themes:

• English: denser vocabulary and inference than CLAT on some years.
• GK: more standalone current-affairs items than CLAT’s long GK passages.
• Logical Reasoning: a larger share of the paper than on CLAT UG.

4 Strategy

• Build LR volume; it carries more of AILET than of CLAT.
• Keep a daily GK slot; do not rely only on CLAT-style passages.
• English: timed practice on shorter, denser extracts.

5 Common mistakes

• Preparing Legal Aptitude as if the old AILET UG paper were still current.
• Treating AILET as “CLAT minus QT” without extra LR.
• Ignoring negative marking while guessing on GK.
